It is a question often asked of us here at Ecocamel – what are the best showerheads for a system with low water pressure?
When you have low water pressure in your home, there is only so much you can do. Making use of devices like flow restrictors will only limit the flow further, and certainly not improve the showering experience.
At Ecocamel, we have an innovative solution. Injet technology -

The Design Creating a water efficient, powerful shower head was a huge challenge that took us thousands of hours of designing and testing before the first models came off our production line. To simpify, air is forced through a small hole at the base of the handle into the water stream. When the air & water mix, it spins around with high velocity, causing turbulence which increases the pressure inside of the showerhead. This forces the fluid out of the head with all the power of a regular shower, but uses approx. 45% less water. An improved Shower An Ecocamel Injet shower has a distinct advantage over its ordinary rivals. The water droplets that are produced are much softer & lighter, meaning they burst really easily on your skin… soaking you much more efficiently without splashing all over the shop. Normal water droplets just bounce off, so you have to use more water to get wet. And if you’re using more water… you’re certainly not saving money. |

Test Results
Our claims above are all backed up by the most stringent testing to make sure that we meet the strictest water efficiency criteria.
Independent testing from John Moores University ( Liverpool ) demonstrated average water savings of 40% over a standard shower head. This means in real terms, a saving of around 56,000 litres of water a year, based on a family of four taking a seven-minute shower each day.
